Recent Projects

  • Danielle presented her research, “Doing a Real Job”: The Evolution in Women’s Roles in British Society Through Governmental Propaganda, 1914-1945, at both the Georgia Association of Historians Conference and the Florida Historians Conference in February 2019. She also presented her research, Desert Queen and the White Mouse: How the Successes of Everyday British Women and Female Spies in WWI Paved the way for Female Agency in WWII, at the Imperial Legacies Conference of 1919 at the University of Texas in April 2019.
  • Clamour Theatre Company invited Danielle to be a part of their first ever Clay & Water Playwriting Retreat. For one week, Danielle and a group of select playwrights gathered and worked on their own individual projects. She began the piece “Sitting Still,” a play exploring the achievements of LGBT+ women doctors of the UK, such as Elsie Inglis, and their contributions to WWI. Her play received a reading as well.
